LUCIA WONG

Managing Controller

Lucia possesses a Master Degree of Science in Engineering Enterprise Management and a Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Computer Science from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST). She also holds the Postgraduate Diploma in Public Order Studies (Policing/Corrections/Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement/Crisis Negotiation) awarded by University of Leicester, U.K.

Lucia is an active member of the Hong Kong Society for Quality and also joined the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Club. She holds a certified Six Sigma Green Belt taking the apprenticeship from the first ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt in Greater China, Professor Fugee Tsung.

 

She has worked in various fields in human resources management, such as talent recruitment (including executives and management trainees), new staff induction training, employee engagement survey and analysis, staff performance and reward management and succession planning, research and management of employees’ remuneration and benefits, leading and organization of employee activities, etc. Having worked in the financial industry serving UCF Group, Generali, HSBC Insurance (Human Resources Department and Office of the Chief Operating Officer), Bank of Singapore (Hong Kong Branch) and Standard Chartered Bank.

 

Before that, Lucia worked in the information technology field, including computer programming, software development, computer technician, database design and manipulation, system design and analysis and system performance tuning working at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, HKUST and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She also assisted PolyU to attain the qualification in developing an online basic competency assessment system for Primary Six to Secondary Three students in HKSAR (BCA system of the Examinations and Assessment Authority).
